Project HySpeed is a transformative clean hydrogen initiative backed by some of Britain’s largest companies and most innovative SMEs. Together, they’re injecting £6.5 billion of private capital into the UK economy and creating 24,300 new jobs across the nation’s industrial heartlands.
Led by HydraB Group—which includes energy pioneers Hygen Energy, Ryze Power, HYCAP Group, and Wrightbus—the project directly answers the UK Government’s call to make Britain a global clean energy superpower.
What is Project HySpeed?
Project HySpeed is a 1GW green hydrogen development that aims to ensure 50% UK content throughout the project.
Built around a commitment to British innovation and sustainability, HySpeed will scale hydrogen production, cut costs, and drive local supply chain growth.
